Default another led dash conversion

got this done in about 2 hrs total. the biggest pain was putting the dash in to check leds that were not working. other than that everything was plug and play. it looks a lot better in person. the crappy phone pics dont really do right by it.

the dimmer still works great. although driving in the city really doesnt let the dash get too bright. i could literally drive with no lights on and be fine. ok as far as the hvac and overhead. those are easier than the dash. use the same 8.5hp bulbs from superbright for the hvac. there are 3. and for the overhead i used the 4mm twist bulb right from the cluster page on the site NEOx-xHP: NEOx High Power LED Instrument bulb. the "hardest" one was the headlight knob. you need very little soldering know how. you remove the bulb and you see the solder mounts. buy a neo wedge led and pull the leads put them where the old ones were apply heat and done. the numbers on the overhead and odometer displays were changed with roscolux 74 deep blue theatre lighting paper. that is how it was for my 04. i cant imagine it would have changed too much. all it takes is a little patience getting everything off. if you have any ?s feel free to ask. i also got all this info somewhere on this site. i wish i woulda copied the page. it was very helpful. just search led dash. you will see it.

3 | NEOx-xHP: NEOx High Power LED Instrument bulb| $ 2.29 |
NEO4-BHP: 4mm NEO4-xHP Blue

1 | WLED-x-x: 1 LED T10 Wedge Base Bulb | $ 1.39 |
WLED-B-120: Blue 120 Degree
------------------------------------------------------------
3 | B8-HP: B8-HP series Instrument LED bulb | $ 2.59 |
B8.5D-BHP: Blue
i might have gone with the 8.5s on the overhead console as well but this was the list i went off of originally. the neo bulbs have a slightly different blue to them. but i really liked it. you could always buy 3 extra and switch them out the way you see fit. itll only cost you an extra 7 bucks. the wedge for the headlight knob is goin to look huge but it works great. if you give me your address i can send you some of the roscolux paper you would need since they come in big sheets.

hopefully you can verify that our hvac controls are the same. when i started this project i know some questions arose as far as dual controls and what not. they might need soldering and such if its different. therefore different bulb. but i know there is an 06-08 how to. mighta been on another forum that i saw it.
