Update on my truck. I'm on a budget but had a few things I wanted to do to get it protected and functional for me.

Westin wheel to wheel nerf bars/steps, Undercover Tonneau, DualLiner

I like the BakFlip but got a one piece in case I want to take it off and throw a camper or a rack on it.

Great photography work.
Looks like a calendar shot.

Maybe a calendar submission

You gotta tell your wife, which I do (I dont get a smile, rather a slight punch)....
I say.... "would you rather it be my truck or another woman"
Thats where the punch comes in
But hey, I gotta put it into perspective

You are a very wise man!

I don't mean to turn this into a rant about the fairer sex, but women sometimes forget when they have it good.

A very good friend retired from the military after ~30 years of service. About a month into retirement he'd gone heavily into his work-working hobby and he had a few projects on the go for family (toy boxes and hope chests - nice stuff).

Over morning coffee, his wife asked him what he had planned for the day. He told her he was going to be in his word-working shop in the basement. She started to complain about the sawdust.

He stopped her right there and said, "You know what? I've been thinking about it and you're right. Too much sawdust! As a matter of fact, I've been thinking about giving up the word-working and selling all my tools."

"Oh," she say, impressed.

"Yup. There's another hobby I've been thinking about taking up instead."

"Really," she asks, curious.

"Yup. This hobby involves me heading down to the Legion as soon as it opens and sitting around with my old army buddies, drinking all day long."

She thinks about it for about 18 nanoseconds and replies, "You make as much sawdust as you like!"

AHAHAHAHA!!!!!

If this was true, that is fantastic!
But yes, I joke with my wife to remind her.... 'you know where I am and what I'm doing'.....what more shall I say?
She does have friends who have another life beyond the house....so she gets where I'm going.
I'm sure that slight punch is an I Love You
