Default 97 RAM Sport Bumper Swap

Hey everyone, This is my first time using this forum, So being the new guy, i've got some questions. This is my 3rd ram, and i want to customize this one, I was wondering if i could swap the front bumper out for a 98 or newer Sport front bumper? If anyone has done this or knows if its even possible please let me know!

Yes, it's possible if you pick a sport bumper, fascia and hardware from a 2nd generation Ram Sport.

Check out LMCTruck.com's online catalog...you'll see all the parts there that are needed to do the swap.

Yes it's possible. I made a pattern from the bolt holes on my '95 and transferred them to the mounting brackets on the '00 bumper mounts. Piece of cake.

You'll have to get a grill and frame off a newer one also otherwise you'll have a big gap between the bumper and grill because the older bumper is straight and the newer one has a dip in it.
