Default Stacking chips??

Its time for me to buy a tuner, I think im gonna get the new bully dog gas tuner. So I keep seeing these adds that claim that all you need to do is plug it in and you get 15-50 HP, Is there anything out there like that that actually works?? And if so can you use a tuner on top of that to give a little more power??? Thanks Guys!!

Forget the "chips" as all they do is overfuel your engine.

I'd go with a tuner, say a DiabloSport Predator or Trinity or the SuperChips option.

I would highly recommend you NOT stack chips on that PCM.

^Agreed chips were good until tuners came out. Do not stack chips.

Good advice and there are only a few reasons to stack and for your year i don't see a reason too.

bullydog is considered '2nd tier' imo to superchips and diablo...they are reputable in the diesel arena but a little behind with the gassers..

Yeah, the bullydog just isn't the same quality as the superchip or diablo, and since you have a gas, stacking chips is not healthy at all, in any way imaginable.

Your paying for the name when it comes to bulldog I think

Your not going to really see all that much performance difference with just a tuner alone, that 50 hp will come along with other mods

The Bullydog is actually cheaper than the comparable Trinity (more comparable than a DSP IMO because the GT is a different type of tuner than the DSP), so I don't believe you're paying extra for BullyDog. That said, the general consensus on here is that the GT is not as good for the Hemi as it is for Diesels, or the 4.7. It will soon be seen whether the DSP or new DS Intune will work better than the GT for the 4.7. I'll know soon enough as I have the Intune on order and I am currently using the GT.

That's moot though, we're talking Hemi here, I just wanted to add my two cents coming from someone who has actually used the BullyDog. Most feedback on it I see comes from DSP or Superchip owners who have not actually used the BullyDog.

One thing is for sure, the DSP and Intune do have more tuning options than the BullyDog. This is why I ordered the Intune even though I already have the GT. Depends what you're looking for in a tuner. If this Intune works better than the GT on my 4.7, I'll be very happy indeed as I am not at all disappointed by the performance gain I felt after installing the GT.

Check out the Intune for sure, it looks like a great unit and it IS cheaper than the GT.
