Sorry Gang: I had a crazy night long last night here at the rig so hit the sheets at 10:00 this A.M. and slept till 5:00 P.M. Yes, like most of the gang are saying, I too had my dealer do em and they charged me 2.25hrs @ $90/hr.
Glad to hear the others chime in on their experiences with them. I am at the end of a really narrow, "Whoop De Do" filled road in the mountains here, (a slightly improved seismic cut line), and we've got deep snow to polished heavy bumps. Shocks really are great with no bottoming out or rough ride. Just firm / Just right
Regards "Doc".

i thought of another question.
I have 22" rims on there now but i want change them to an 18" rim does anyone have any suggestions on tire size? the 22" rims are too much for when i pull a 30ft trailer i need more tire less rim.
Im also looking for an aggressive tire but one that one that wont be noisy going down the road. i was looking at the toyo MT what do you think?
I have seen the lift installed and yes it still has a little of a rake. But it's not bad. I want the lift and just a bit of rake. I tow alot. And I haul crap all the time. I want it to sit level when I'm towing. Or when im loaded.

Hang in guys. I'm going to go out of my wellsite trailer and snap a few pics so you can see results. One of my directional drillers here has a stock truck so it will be a great comparison for you. Gimme a few so I can get my winter gear on and go shoot some "B" Berry snaps.

Default lift snaps

Sorry about the crappy B Berry snaps. They really are terrible. It's 15 below and perhaps that has something to do with it. Shoulda used the good camera but TOO COLD. Lol Here ya go.

I just installed mine 2 weeks ago... used hand tools and the help of a buddy. Rented spring compressors from Checkers autoparts. took a few hours... not bad though.

Set the front to the top ring for the max height. Im running 35 inch nitto m/t tires. they dont rub against the sway bar anymore with the lift.

I ordered the front and rears from Gord at Essex. Great customer service !! I had big plans on installing them myself at home. After they arrived I crawled under the truck with my trusty tool box at hand.
After a check of the front coils and that part of the front suspension would have to dropped down to get them off/on and how tight the upper bolts were on the rear shocks I quickly rolled out of there and looked at my now very inadequate tool box with no attempts made.
I had all 4 installed at a local garage. I have the front ones set to the highest level. They said the fronts were a pain to do. It took them just over 4 hours to do all 4 shocks and do the alignment. It cost a shave over $400.00 to have the garage do it. I'm not helpless but I certainly would have been out of my league to try it. I did not know anyone with the tools and knowledge to tackle it in my garage at home. If I paid too much I guess shame on me. At least I know its done right and aligned.
Gotta agree with rockdoc. BIG difference over the stock shocks, and looks better too. So far no vibrations when in 4x4.
Good luck with whichever way you decide to go.
