Default Can't see speedometer!

When I set the steering wheel to where it is comfortable, I can't see the speedometer - which is a problem... Has anyone else had this problem?

Yep - same problem here. I wish the tach and speedometer were switched.

Does your instrument panel look like this ? I have the bucket seats, but i don't have the brown fake wood. This image is a 2009 Laramie 4X4 i believe
The thing that i have to move to see is the High Beam indicator & fog indicator lights on the left & ESP & Tow Haul lights on the right, i stand 5' 8"

Yep, I have the same problem. It's worst right at the normal highway cruising speed range of 60-70...at least lucky I'm on cruise most of the time in that range. I'm 6 feet tall and have a long torso, but when I have everything set for comfortable driving, that area of the speedo is blocked.

I'll have a systems data monitor on mine shortly, and one of the sensors I'll have logged in will be speed, so not too big an issue. Still, pretty irritating.

GTY, yes that's what my '12 Express looks like at the dash and steering wheel.

Same here...5'11" and the top of the speedo is basically blocked by the steering wheel. Tried adjusting the power seat tilting it back, but never quite right. My father's GMC is the same way, and GM's steering wheels are larger than our Ram. A lot of new vehicles seem this way from what I recall about the test drives. Even my wife's 2011 Traverse seems that way too.

Too bad we didn't have heads-up display like my Corvette. Now that would be cool!

Yes, i have the same problem. Drove a rented Chrysler Town and Country a few weeks ago and had the same problem in it. The town and country evic though had an option to display speed which solved the problem. Too bad the Rams don't have this option.

I am 6'1" and have a long torso also. Every car I have two problems, the speedo and the rear view mirror blocks part of my view going around turns.

Steering wheel blocks the top of the speedo on both my 2006 and 2011 Rams as well as my 2002 Z28. I can still see the lower, in town speeds, it justs blocks from about 45-80 and at those speeds I'm usually on the cruise control or just going with the flow of traffic so I don't stress about it - it's the price I pay for having the wheel adjusted as low as I like it.

Yeah, I would attribute part of it to setting the steering wheel fairly low, but heck...that's why they have adjustable steering wheels...LOL! This Dodge is the first vehicle I've owned where I didn't drive it with the seat all the way back. Not complaining at all as I like the roominess.
