Same Here and practically every other vehicle I've ever owned with an adjustable steering wheel. I have an artificial shoulder and I'm most comfortable with the wheel as low as it goes. I have a GPS that is always on and I use the speed from it, but it is still an irritation. As a previous Poster commented having the speed on the EVIC would be great help.

I guess this is why we have necks. So we can move our heads! LOL
I replaced my front headrest with the ones from the rear seat so I can sit up straight and move.

If you have the touch screen radio with the NAV, just use that. It has an option to show your speed and altitude, etc...... pretty cool for those having trouble seeing the speedo. I have no prob and I am 6'. Guess I don't have the long torso????? LOL
Plus, my neck works......

I think the number of responses indicating an issue with seeing the speedo point out a not-too-great dash/steering wheel setup. IMO the problem is the location of the speedo more so than the design of the wheel. And the comments about people being able to move their necks?...well...I might be able to do circus contortions, but should I really be expected to have to do that on well designed dash layout?

I love this truck. With a data readout device attached full time, this won't be an issue for me, but for those who don't run some kind of alternative speed readout, it's a bit of a PITA.

Agreed --- this seems to be a design flaw with the instrument panel.

I am having the technicians look into whether or not they can get a software update to the EVIC system. I drove a 2011 Dodge Journey that had the exact same problem and same EVIC system - except that one had an option to display the MPH digitally in that information window. As a software developer I know it should be possible to add that feature to any EVIC system - question is did they allow for it.

Meanwhile - what is a data readout device @TNC?

agreed --- so I asked the technician if that could be done (add speed to EVIC). no answer yet, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

this wasnt a problem in my 2003 dodge ram...
