Default Ignition Run Only fuse keeps blowing

Hi I have an 04 Dodge Ram and and the "Ignition- Run Only" fuse keeps blowing everytime i turn the ignition on... It is the pink 30 amp fuse..

Does anyone know what this fuse does?? The truck still seems to start fine..
I did notice the AC controls seem non responsive.. not sure if this is related but i think it is..

Any help with this problem or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for your time and help.

Is this Fuse #3?
In the IPM (Fuse Box) It will be the 3rd 30A fuse. Fuse 4 is 40A.
Do you have the rear window defrost option?

Yes it is the 3rd fuse... 30 amp

And no it does not have rear window defrost..
It doesn't have power door locks or windows either..

Does anyone know if its safe to drive the truck with this fuse blown?

At this stage, I will say that it is NOT safe to drive the truck. I'm currently looking over the circuit, and Fuse 3 powers alot of important stuff. Give me a couple of minutes and I will give you some troubleshooting ideas to isolate where the issue is.

I'm hoping you have a few spare 30A fuses...LOL
This procedure is going to be trial and error.

Can you pull the following 'Second Stage' fuses and see if Fuse #3 still blows.
Fuse 36 (10A)
Fuse 37 (??A)
Fuse 38 (15A)
Fuse 35 (10A)
Fuse 52 (20A)

Yeah these fuses are expensive too!!

I figured this would be the case.. just to let you know im not sure if this is normal but the other side of the fuse (non battery side) shows ground once i turn the ignition on..

I pulled all the relays and it still shows ground.. not sure if this info helps at all but thought i would let you know..

Going to pull all those right now and let you know. Thanks

The 'ground' reading is expected. A 30A fuse can drive a load of .3 ohms, so unless you have a real sensitive ohm meter, it will look like ground.
