Default Wire up a camper 3rd Brake Light?

Just picked up a used Leer 100R for my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 ST 4 x 2. The third brake light needs replacing so I've ordered a replacement led brake light. How do I wire it in? Do I just tap in to one of the rear brake lights? Or can I get to the wire harness under the truck and find a available wire that is capped, what color wire am I looking for.
The leer is going into paint Monday, $270 at maaco, paid $200 for the shell, $35 for struts, and another $40 for the light. So I'll have $545 into the whole setup. New was about $1,350, extra for a carpet kit and still more for the front fold down window. Figure I'm saving a grand.

Here's a link to all wiring diagrams which should be helpful

A camper shop or topper seller will just run a wire down to your wiring harness behind the bumper and tap into the brake light lead to the tow plug.
