Default Wiper motor issue

I just replaced my wiper motor with a rebuilt motor from the parts store and the new one will not run on intermittent or return to park. My old motors only issue was not returning to park.

I can hear the relay clicking as if the wipers are running intermittently but nothing is happening. They will run on low and high.

Is there any other possible issue or did I just get a bad motor?

The FSM diagnostic chart advises "replace motor" for that circumstance, hard as that is to believe. Mine started running in the "off" position and the chart also said the same thing. I have a motor coming from JCW online for $80 delivered. Being electrical your parts store won't likely do much about the motor you bought. I'll report back when I get my motor in in case we end up up the same creek, ...

check make sure when you run power the relay is good it might click but not send power. or power might be too low for the motor to run.
