That is an awesome post, really great to hear such good comments and that you're enjoying your truck, that's the way it's supposed to be. I know I've loved my truck from day one, even as I'm at the dealership today waiting on a diagnosis of my A/C issue lol and a couple pinion seals I've had replaced under warranty, my truck is still a joy to drive, every day. Not only can I not think of being without a truck, I sure as heck can't think of being without my RAM!!!

I like this thread, and am also a happy, trouble-free RAM 1500 owner. My dealer followed up to verify I am happy with my purchase, and offers $9.95 oil changes to boot.

I know I'm certified crazy when I'm outside in 40F weather with 30mph wind hand washing my truck in the driveway!

Glad to hear others having good experiences with their Rams.

I fell in love with my truck the moment I drove it and made an impulse buy.

I have read all the threads about the issues with these trucks and started to get paranoid.

I have 6900 miles on it now and lovin it.

The only thing I noticed was it started staying in gear too long and acting strange when going uphill.

Took it in for my 1st oil change and they did an upgrade to the PCU and all is well, runs better than the day I bought it. I had not mentioned the issue to them they just did it since they had it in the shop.

This is my 1st Dodge product and very pleased so far.

The wife has been looking at the 200 lately, seems to be a nice car. Dodge/Chrysler has 2 new fans.

I am done now,
Mike T

I don't know if it was just the 2011's or what, but I noticed the 11's passenger side headlight is not flush in one or two ways. I haven't seen it much if any on the 12's but I bet all you guys with "perfect trucks" haven't noticed it lol. I noticed mine when i washed it. It was not flush on the side with the fender and not flush with the hood on top. I went back to the dealer and walked the front line. Every 11 was the same way. Some worse than others. So I just fixed it myself. That's the only thing i've noticed. I've read plenty though about all the problems. I do love the new truck and i'm not hating on em. Sometimes reading all these issues just mess with your head. Enjoy your truck! They are good pickups.

I just turned 4K miles after 2.5 months, and have only had a few minor problems that you're likely to find on any new vehicle. One of my bed caps had a small warp on the side, and the dealer replaced it without argument or discussion. The only other things on my list are some sort of weird haze on the left rear-view mirror that I can't get off, and something wrong with the radio and/or right front speakers (sounds great with music, but "tinny" and distorted with talk...never heard anything like it). I think I might have the TC problem, but I'm not sure enough about that yet to bring it up with the dealer.

In spite of these minor "issues", I absolutely love this truck, and my wife has named our garage the "Ram's den". I think she likes it too (even though it's not her style), but she just won't admit it. Before I bought the Ram, I was thinking about looking at an F-150, but I'm really, really glad that I came to my senses. Every time I see one of the damned things going down the road, I breathe a big sigh of relief...excellent trucks, but I just hate the current body style.

These 4th-gen Rams may just be that rare vehicle that owners generally adore, despite a few common problems.

I have the 2009 SLT QC
at about 40,000 miles i had a exhaust manifold crack on me, it was replaced as soon as they got one from a warehouse, they never even questioned it
I also had a drive shaft replaced, i didn't have a problem with it, they were trying something to appease me, i have a noise when shifting into reverse, they don't know what to do about it, i got a report right from factory, it is covered under warranty if it does more than make noise

I now have 58,000 miles on the Ram

Sitting at 8800 miles on my 2011 and I guess im an odd ball have had some pretty interesting/mild issues with mine.

Had a leaking Cam oil plug on the back of the block had the plug and the rear main seal replace that was with under 5k miles

Have had the Passenger front Body mount replaced due to squeaking and it still does it and am getting the run around with 2 different dealerships.

Other then those two headaches I have no complaints on my truck

Had 70,000 km on my '10 TRX4, never had a lick of problem, except for the replacement of the HVAC control modules which was a factory recall, mine never let me down.
Now I'm less than a month and 4,000 km in on my '11 3500 and she's been an absolute peach to this point as well, couldn't be happier with either rig.
