Default Did you tuner ^ your MPG on you 5.7L ?

Just looking for a MPG gain. Not interested in the performance aspect of a tuner. My speedo is off because of the larger tires but it doesn't bother me enough to spend $350-$450 on a tuner.

Superchips vs Diablo for fuel mileage? Can anyone post their experiences? I prefer to run the cheap stuff 87

I didn't notice an increase in MPG with my Trinity. Made it lots more fun to drive though. Never tried the "mileage booster", not sure if it helps or not.

I've been considering the ECM flash from Westers. Looks like 20HP uplift and an additional 4-5mpg. $450 gets you the flash and lifetime updates/tweaks.

Hmmm! Yeah I'd love to grab one if it will pay for itself in fuel! I have a sports car and a bike so I drive those when I want performance! The truck is just my 4x4 monster that I cruise around in

From their website:

Better Fuel Economy, 15-18% more torque and HP, speed limiter removal, adjusted shifts and calibrated for tire size and gear ratio.
Custom Tuning for any application: Supercharger, Turbocharger, Cam, Heads, Exhaust
$495

I've had buddies who have taken their diesels here with nothing but the best reviews.

Yeah diesels are a completely different story though as they crank up the boost and sometimes nearly double their torque. I'm hoping someone that has one of these tuners on their hemi can give me their experience with it!

I use the 93 tune and my MPG may have gotten a little better under normal operation lol

I've had a Bully Dog on my 4.7 for a week and a half. Running the regular tune (+15-ish HP and torque) and I'm getting about 1 - 1.5 better fuel economy. Keep in mind that's driving it fairly nicely (minus a few 1/4 mile runs ) and 80% highway.

That being said it also makes the truck WAY nicer to drive. Love how it changes the shift points; stays within the power a lot better. All the gauge readout ps are nice to have too.

I just got the Superchips Flashpaq and an intake. I definitely see a difference in mileage. Not a huge difference but any improvement with these Hemi's helps! I am sure the difference is because I did both the tuner and the CAI at the same time.
