Question Cold Air Intake

Ok... I'm getting serious about installing a cold air intake. Are they REALLY that easy to install? Anything that's NOT obvious that I should consider? Any horror stories?

Thanks,

In my opinion, as long as you are semi-handy you should have no problems. I usually read the directions a few times before I start to get the general idea, and then go step by step.

As Confucius say, "Remember, you’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think."

Wink

Thanks, man. I love the quote...

I always read & re-read the directions also. Sometimes I IGNORE them, but I still always READ them too!

Sounds like I should be OK if I pay attention & lay off the beer!!!

Thanks again,

Well, I went with the K&N... It's installed & I LOVE it. Did exactly what I wanted and expected. Also added a Flowmaster muffler and love it as well (great sound w/ the K&N). Thanks for all the help, fellas!

yeah! what he said! LOL

There is really nothing like a good CAI to wake up an engine... especially when you add the exhaust to the mix as well.

Enjoy and be sure to post some pics.... you know the rules around here...

No pics, It didn't happen! lmao
