If you guys are seeing white spots on the leather even after using other cleaning products then you have spue, I know it sounds juvenile and itsreese is going to have a field day with it.

Because the Longhorns have a different type of leather than is typically used in the automotive industry, the dealerships are quite clueless about the proper way to treat this leather. The white spots are fat coming out of the leather, and you can use several products to remove it and seal the leather so it won't keep happening. I recommend the Leather Masters Spue Remover or if you live any where that has a western clothing store/tack shop you can pick up saddle soap.

I guarantee you, Dodge does NOT make leather cleaner. Buying care products from the dealership is just lining their pockets.

This is fantastic information. I have been having the perforated leather on the backseats gather this 'white crap' in athe holes (they arent sat-in often) And I had no idea what it was. The front seats seem fine, but I'm surmising its because there alway someone sitting in them to 'wipe it off'

Thanks!

Hey brother,,

I have had some issues with my Longhorn as well....Are you finding that the spots appears on the rear seats???? Do you notice what appears to be a chalk like substance.,....

If you do let me know. Do NOT put any conditioner or cleaner on them. You will need to get some saddle soap as well as saddle conditioner....I will explain the cleaning process.

I had a terrible time with my seats and my dealer was great. They actually spent two days detailing the inside. It was like a few chalk brushed were slammed together, So far all is good,.

Either way let me know, I will try and see If I can find a pic and post it.....
