Default Do it myself or pay for it

I want a spray in bed liner but I'm not sure what to do. Should I do it myself and pay roughly 150 or pay rhino liner to do it for about 500. So what I wanting to know is how hard is it to do myself and if I choose to what to be prepared for.

It's not to bad if you do it your self. The main thing to worry about is make sure it is sanded down enough and make sure you clean it really really good before you line it.

I helped a buddy do his with the DIY kit, was a nice afternoon project and turned out very nice but it didn't stand up as well as the pro versions. After a winter of sliding his sled in and out of the box we had to do some major touch up. One of our old work trucks got the Rhino done and it has taken years of abuse and never required a touch up. That's my experience anyway.

I vote for the pro job, there's nothing like a warranty that they don't think twice about. Either Line-X or Rhino IMHO, my Rhino has taken a fair amount of abuse over the years and it's still going strong, even stood up to a battery acid spill sitting in it for 2 months, a discolored spot, but it's still intact.

+1 for pro. I did the diy kit on an old truck. Spent 8 or 9 hours prepping the surface correctly, laid the liner down, waited almost 80 hours before use. First use, the paint chipped. I have the rhino in my ram, i've scraped shovels on it, thrown cinderblocks/bricks on it, dragged a couple honda engines across the bed....still no chips/cracks
