The Morimoto units are the best. But, the 2013's are finicky as I'm sure you've been reading.
All it takes is a poor ground, faulty resistor etc and you'll end up like so many others running around with brand new trucks and cheap drop-in HID kits with a burnt out headlight (real nice).
I just spent close to $1500 on a full retro'd (Retro Source) set of headlights to be as close to stock as possible and I WILL do a perfect install job, but if suddenly I end up driving around with a burnt out headlight I'm going to be extremely pissed. I don't yet have them to install though.
Unfortunately, a "money's no object" scenario still doesn't mean we can get things that are as good as OEM. But I think it doesn't get any better than what Retro Shop builds.
I sure hope I don't regret this purchase :-)
