Default Rear of truck not level left to right

I ordered the Bilstein 5100's for my truck last week, and in preparation for install, i measured the difference in height from the middle of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender at each wheel to determine how much lift i need to level the rake. to my surprise, the left rear of my truck is a full inch lower than the right rear, and i have less than a tank of fuel (so i don't see it being a weight difference).

Obviously i'm going to ship it back to the dealer this week before changed the shocks out, but i thought id check and see if anyone else has noticed this on their truck to see if it is yet another "it just does it" dodge thing.

I'm no mechanic, but the only thing i could think is a broken spring??

As for the lean...I dunno mine does the same thing and it drives me nuts. I'm getting ready to put a 1" spacer in the LR.

As for the tire, you may need a 4 wheel alignment. Have someone follow you and find out if it's following a straight line. Ever see how a dog walks? kinda sideways. Like the rear of it is to either the right or left. If you need a 4 wheel alignment it'll get noticed from behind.

You can try just walking up to a guy and asking him if he wouldn't mind checking out your rear from behind?

No luck. The dealer thinks the raising of the rear causes the problem.

Mine is still stock. I replaced the springs and "U" bolts, and then had a 4 wheel alignment. Still listing to port...I'm at the point that I'm either going to put a 1 inch block in the left rear, or make spacers for the bed.

I don't understand how the dealer could be so obtuse to the problem if everything is stock...the rear isn't raised yet so it obviously couldn't be the root of the problem.

I'm going to do it to remedy a factory problem.

Without a shadow of a doubt...Oh wait...I do not retain sufficient information to formulate a confirmation, nor a denial of that inquiry at this time. This is a family site.
