No, the surrounding part seals to the hood so it wouldnt pick up any of the air from the ports, maybe they'll make tubes aimed toward the filter to the sport vents but then u would have to worry about water/etc

I don't think you'd see enough benefit from that to even be worth the time or effort. Like you said, then you would have to worry about more than just air getting into the intake.

Real interested but have a couple questions
1. Does this impact any of the vehicle systems such as mds?
2. Does this take up room in front of the cross brace in front of the radiator? Will it hinder my ability to mount lights behind the grill?

i talked to the tech guy on the phone and he said no problem putting vinyl on the smooth lid, temp. will not effect... gonna wrap mine in purple with some white "345 HEMI" decals
