I changed the diff lubes in my 2010, i couldnt believe how cheezy
in quality and size that these diff`s have become..!

Had this done at the dealership yesterday. WOW what a difference! The truck has punch and is as snappy as my Charger R/T!

Gas mileage seems to be improving (which is a huge help since my truck has a 6" ProComp lift and 35" tires).

Pre-flash I would see 9.4-10.2 MPG. So far we are in the 12-13 MPG range. I'll post up more numbers once I get her out on the highway.

Next up, the Vararam 4G Intake, Magnaflow Y-Pipe and 18" Muffler!

Would anyone happen to know is this TSB 18-023-11 might also apply to 2010 Rams with that same transmission?
My truck is doing exactly as the problem is described (shudder on kickdown and etc.), but I'm sure when I take it to the dealer, they are going to tell me that the TSB does not apply to my truck. I am going to try anyway though, just curious if anyone might know since my truck was built before 2-1-11 and has the 545RFE tranny that it applies to, just not a 2011 model-yr truck.

Sorry, the TSB applies to 2011 MY vehicles only. The new flash they have (for 2011) likely can't be downloaded into a 2010 truck anyway. There is a specific update sequence for each ECU, so your dealer can only flash your truck with code that's on the list for your truck.

You might have them try quick-learning it to see if that helps at all.

How many times are we going to have to have these trucks reflashed in the life of the truck. I totally agree with candy08, its just rediculous in my opinion too...! Lets say a person keeps their truck 10 or 15 or even 20yrs, what happens when you cant get them reflashed anymore due to them being too old, and the dealership says ther are no more flashs available from the manufactuer, so, do we just throw the truck away thats only 5 or 6 yrs old and buy a brand new truck...? I dont think so... i KNOW i cant buy another new truck again, i cant afford it and neither can most the people out there. With all this GREAT technology today, they cant even build a better truck that can go past 50,000 miles without being back in for HUGE major repairs.

(just more fuel to add to the fire)
And not to mention, what good is a warranty if it gets used against you. To me and probably ALOT of others, warranty`s are eye candy, the more they offer, the better it looks to the buyer, and a sellers point to make a boat load of money off from the customer, but when it comes time that you need to use it...POOF, what warranty...!(not to confuse the small minded, i`m talkin about the price you pay for EXTENDED warranties, because the factory warranty is basically garbage)

Ok, end of rant...lol

Put the truck in this morning swince I had the same issues. Just got her back from the Shop and holy shat she's punchy now. Roasted half a tank just playing on the highway around Red Deer
