Question E-fan and T-stat

I have been asking around but havent really got any definitive answers nor could i find anything when i did some searching. I want to know if i put in a lower T-stat and an E-fan will i run into any issues on my 09 ram? I also know that in order for the T-stat to do its job properly i have to reset at what temp the E-fan kicks on so can i do this with my Bully Dog and finally is the cots worth the gains? I know its not real expensive but does it really make a difference? Even if its a small one. Personal experiences would be preferred but any input from some one with knowledge will do.

A cooler engine will always run better and more efficiently. I can't quote stats to ya. I suspect they are all over the map as no one drives the same in the same conditions all the time.

For me, adding a lower temp t-stat and setting my fans to some lower temps improved driveability in hot weather as the engine was running cooler.

Did you stick with stock fan and if so how did you adjust them?

For the RAM, I have the stock fan and I have not tweaked it. The 180 degree thermostat I put in and the stock settings keep it pretty cool, even in hot ambient conditions.

On my SRT, I have the stock Low Speed & High Speed fans and I set the fan On parameters with my Predator.
