Hey jettajam1,
Can you share your experience with going through the lemon law process?
Was it difficult?
How long did the complete process take from start to finish?

I'm afraid that might be my only solution if Chrysler will not fix my vibration issue in my 2012.

Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

The "Hill start assist" is a feature when you're towing anything and the brakes are applied even though your foot is not on the brake to prevent the truck from rolling back.

just put a magnaflow 18" muffler on, was revving the engine to check it out, and it takes a longer than usual time, to rev back down. Whats up? Not sure if was doing it before the new muffler.

Default Minor annoyance....

I've had my 2012 1500 for about 3 months and have 1200 miles on it. No real problems - love it so far. But on 2 occasions the auto headlight feature didn't turn on when I started it in complete darkness. I switched them on manually and it was fine. I always keep it in the auto position and it only happened twice. I'll keep an eye on it hopefully not a worn contact or something.

Default Wow, think i have had every problem posted here!

Hi all,

New to posts here. Wanted to see if many people have had same problems. Bought my 2012 ram 1500 Crew Laramie 4x4 dec 9 2011. First problem, drove home and parked it,a few hours later, went to go for a drive and the check engine light was on. (Was -20 C) Ended up being a transfer case sensor that went. Dealer was helpful, took one off a new truck from there inventory since we were leaving for Xmas in a few days. Truck "clicks" rough shift when in drive and when coming to a stop. (Last few weeks, and havent had time to take in yet, but have apt this week.) fender flares pulling off the truck on 3 flares and also have problems with power going off when i have turned on the windshield wipers, resetting all power in the truck i.e. radio, heated seats etc...

Default starting problem

hey raven 4x4 and jacksonsnorth,

just wanted to let you know that i am having the same prooblem out of my 1500 also.....been to the dealer 4 times aaaannnnd..........nothing. Its probly happened a total of 20 times to me since i bought the truck brand new. they replaced the battery then the starter, and after that didnt work they contacted chrysler and they had no idea, said they had never heard of such a thing(or thats what i was told) happening. then the last time it was up there, they had it for 3 days and finally told me i had to come pick it up cause they couldnt duplicate the problem. also they said that the next time it does it, do not to touch anything and call them immediatly and they will send a tow truck and a loaner vehicle to get me......thats all good except it usually happens around 3 am when i get off work(and no one will be at the dealership to answer the phone) or when i get ready to leave for work. and the boss was already understanding of me being late the first time because my brand new truck doesnt want to crank. anyways if anyone has any input on this issue it would greatly be appreciated....THANX

It is described in the owners manual. Most cars will get this same aero turbulance as well.

I have a 2012 Laramie 1500, its got 16,000 on it now had some issues with the back sensors in really cold temperatures. I've also had my alarm go off about 30 secs from remote starting it, hasn't done it in a while now though. Other than that, love my truck don't regret it at all.

Just noticed when I was out today. My 2012 will hit 1000 miles in the next couple of days.

Other then a back bumper that got munched sometime over Christmas (I have already purchased a new bumper, just need to install it) my truck since purchase in early October has been trouble free. No issues/complaints/concerns with the engine, transmission or other running gear. The paint / exterior body panel fit and the interior have a great factory fit and finish.

Crossing my fingers that I have not cursed myself now...
