It goes up and down depending on the amount of boost initiated into the engine. AC off, Radio Off...Its stabilizes. Doesnt stall, no issues at the start. Battery with the volt meter reads 14.1 and drops down to 13.5 then back up. Thinking it might be an alternator starting to go bad (Does that happen on a NEW vehicle?!?!). Annoying at best right now, off to the dealer it goes. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated as im in the field and have mechanics at my whim.
Truck went to the dealer on Wednesday and thought I was crazy with my description (normal reaction being a woman in a mans world) and then it happened to them. Took 2 days to figure out the issue, but something to note with all the electrical issues that I'm seeing on the 2012's. My truck has a wiring harness issue! Not something I was expecting on a new truck.

Rental for the weekend and hopefully my truck will be back to its AWESOMENESS by Monday. Other than this issue, Ive had nothing go wrong. ::Knock on Wood:: Had a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 for years without incident, hoping my 2012 upgrade maintains that reputation.

[QUOTE=1) Those front seat headrests are the worst. Not sure how many of you feel the same way but I had to switch the rear headrests to the front. They pretty much made the truck un-drivable from discomfort.[/QUOTE]

I test drove a new 2011 dually in Az. in late '11 and the headrests were so bad I took them off and threw them in the back seat, never thought of switching them with the rears though. Since Uncle Sam left me with 6 bad disc in my neck I'm very touchy there and passed on the truck although I liked it. Drove another dually in Fla. and it was much the same so I figured it was back to GM for me. Then I drove a 2012 at my normal dealer and loved it so next thing you know I have the 2500 and all fits fine.

I did, but I just put the manual into 6 and the MDS never comes on. In town my mpg is almost identical.

Whenever I got frost on the truck or if it is below -10 my backup sensors all come on even when nothing is behind the truck. When the temperature comes up the problem disappears. The only other thing is that in the snow or slush the tires throw up all the snow or slush all over the side and then it freezes, especially around the back bumper which can be a real pain. I should probably just buy a set of fender flares. It seems that the 20" rims on the Sport sit out further than the wheel wells.
Apart from that nothing at The only other thing

Default Mileage???

Hi All

Initially I could get up to 700km on a tank of fuel (96L) when I wasn't towing anything....but lateley (last couple of months) I've barely been getting around 400km....is this normal???

It wasn't this brutal of a difference last winter....the truck only has 27,000km on it

Any help??? Cause the dealer didn't find anything,

Thanks in Advance

Marc

Could be a problem with the O2 Sensor (or Lambda probe, however you call that in the states). If this sensor sends the wrong data to the engine's blackbox it's very likely that you get a very low mileage.

Sure it's the transmission and not the brakes?
