Hood says it was ajar and preventing me from remote starting was the first problem randomly happening, when i hadnt touched the hood.

Second thing is my back up sensors have stopped working saying that they are dirty, when in fact they are as clean as can be.

Third thing is my interior lights dim down when i turn my windshield wipers on.

And that is all i have for now, taking it to the dealer to ask about these when im back from work.
Yeah, it sounds like you have electrical issues. The dealer needs to fix them. Stay on them, and see how it goes. Don't forget Lemon Law.

Have had no problems due to manufacturing to date, but only 1300 km so far. Thought I would give a heads up that I did encounter. I did not want the etching in the Longhorn seats so the dealer switched with a Longhorn built a couple months earlier than mine. Aparently, the older seats (non-etched) were not fitted with airbags and the newer etched seats were. This caused my airbag light to come on. Long story short, I got a mopar folding tonnue cover out of it.

Well, I dont really think these are problems.....just things that I wouldnt mind being a little tighter.

- front bumper appears to be slightly tweaked or twisted so that the left side sits in further than the right....it results in a weird shadow from the plastic fascia on top and makes it obvious ( to me).....the bumper was also low on that side, but I tweaked that by messing with the mounting bolts.

- the fan control knob seems a little looser than the other control knobs....will watch for problems with it

So far, thats it.....about 700 miles give or take.

I wanted to comment on the strange sensations, sounds etc that people have complained about. i too, noticed a slight 'whine' at some speeds (although I think it is only noticeable because of how unGodly QUIET the interior is....normally I bet you wouldnt hear it....)......i also noticed the "lugging" some people complain about around town etc.

Not to take away anything from those complaining but i really do think it is just the nature of the beast. I have a rental vehicle for work right now....a 2012 Dodge Caravan. It has a 6 speed tranny and the pentastar V6. Now i assume it is a different tranny than the Ram's.....but it behaves very similarly, with the whine and the bogginess etc around town in 6th gear.

My wife's 2011 Mustang with a 6 speed auto ALSO has similar behaviors.

Trannys with that many gears will act different than the 3 and 4 speeds some of us older folks are used to.

When I drive my old 72 Barracuda with a 3 speed 727 automatic tranny, I swear it has a problem because of how high the RPMs are...but then I remind myself that its a 3 speed....and high RPMs is normal for that setup. LOL

Not saying there arent real issues out there for some....but I think generally these trannys just act different than we are used to.

My issues w/ my 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie crew 4x4/ 5.7 Hemi & 3.92 rear.
-i recieveved my truck w/ multiple scratches some down to the bare metal on the inside of 3 of the 4 door jams.
-i had a dent on my drivers side door an inch behind the door handle.
- noticing more & more squibs in the paint all over the body.
-l had an incorrect color on one of the pieces of plastic on the center console that didn't match the rest of the center console.
-i just noticed the gap on the passenger side around the headlight is larger than the one on the drivers side.
- with regards to the leather seats, they do stretch but not bad my issue is more so w/ the bleeding of colors especially blue jeans on my tan seats.

*- the positives so far are looks/ style.
*- the mileage from a hemi 8 when you baby it.
*- the ride is truly the best of all the trucks produced!
*- the sound, but could be louder.

5600 miles on my Laramie and zero problems so far except for a slight rattle in the sunroof cover on rough roads but no big deal. It's a great truck. Sorry some of you on here are having problems, hope you get satisfaction from your dealers.

I bought a 2012 Ram Outdoorsman Diesel Quad Cab 4x4 about 2 months ago, and the only problem I've had was the bluetooth module for the console had to be replaced as it stopped working right.

I do notice the hinges in the door jams are chipping to bare metal already and pretty bad. But all in all, I love this truck (coming from a 2006 Hemi and 2009 Diesel), and it drives/shifts great.

I wanted to point out that I think the Hemi (from my experiences) bogs a lot easier in certain RPMS, especially in MDS mode, than the diesel. That could be due to the horsepower band being a lot higher at higher RPMS, so you'll hit that bog and need to push down a gear if you're frequently driving certain roads (such as near your home or city and there's hills).
