Default Upgrading to Navigation from Non-Nav

When upgrading to a Navigation Unit from a Non-Nav, I have found a little glitch. I had the dealer install the RHB(had the RBZ) so he could do the VIN update for the NAV. The tech installed the unit and did the VIN update, but I still did not have the option in the EVIC to turn on/off the turn-by-turn that shows up in the EVIC when approaching the next turn. I went back and they said they had to go into their options on their website and include it as a dealer installed option. They did that and said it could take 24 hours to update. I waited a week and still no option, so I went back. They said that what happened was that they had to do the option before they did the VIN update through WiTech. They did another VIN update now that the option was in the system and…..voila… it now works.
So just for those of you who are upgrading your units, now you know the order that they must use in order to get it working the first time.
