Default Seat heater kit and stuff

Awhile back I bought the Mopar Seat Heater Kit as I have cloth seats and they did not come factory with heated seats. After I get the kit, I hit a deer with my 4 month old truck. 7200 dollars later and I have it back with a sport hood, painted grille and black Depo headlights . I just installed the seat kit and wow! One of my favorite mods and not that difficult to install. I recommend it to anyone who lives where it gets cold...although my brother uses his in Florida!
Pics are of the seat heater controls, new front end, tinted led tails and of my Billet Badges.

This looks awesome!!! Where did you get the kit from? Did you actually buy it from the dealer? How $$ was it?

It is great, I'm not a fan of leather, but love heated seats in the winter especially after a duck hunt in January!
The part number is 82210896AB. I don't remember who I got it from but it was just under 300 bucks delivered. What I do is go to your favorite internet search engine and type in mopar 82210896AB and see who has the cheapest price and shipping. You'll be suprised at the difference in prices.
This kit also has 3 levels of heat. You won't be disappointed.

Got exactly the same installed through dealer when bought the truck. They really warm my butt lol. Too bad they don't start with remote start.

Nice looking truck, Harley!

I have the base model ST 1500 and what I did was buy a 12 volt heating pad. Works
great, works fast! Just plug it into the power socket. You can find them via a google search for 12 volt heating pad. They run $25 to $35. If you weigh more than
200 lbs though, they won't stand up more than a year or so being sat on, or twisting
your body much getting in and out of the truck while seated.

^but those pads don't last. sometimes you have to buy 2 time a season. I use them on my camry, and i have to change them every year. So better spend the money and get mopars than the pads. just my 2s.

Are the wiring plugs in the truck that the seat heater kit plugs into or do you need to splice into other wires? Was it a big deal taking the seats apart?
