Default I am looking for the OEM MyGig Navigational display

I bought my dodge with just the simple single disk cd player with all the uconnect stuff cause i refused to pay the dealers price on the navigation. I had a friend of mine do the same thing but someone just gave him the navigation system out of his dodge as he upgraded to some fancy aftermarket navigational system. Well my friend just put in his truck and he was telling me it is pretty much just plug and play. So i was looking to do the same thing and was hoping someone on the forums had a system they were willing to get rid of. If so let me know and maybe we can work a deal. And if anyone else has done would you let me know how it went for you. thanks. my truck is a 2009 sport crew cab but i have seen the 2010 and 2011 and it seems like the same system.

You have to make sure you get the high speed can bus system that is all really and if you want Sat you need a GPS antenna that mounts under your dash if you don't have sirius antenna and want that well there is another item for your shopping list. but if you have that no sweat just plugs in the new radio, but you will need gps antenna.50 bucks roughly.

I had the regular radio with sat and uconnect and recently purchased a oem NAV radio online. I got the RHB radio that uses Garmin navigation and it really was plug and play. The sirius antenna that is located on the roof is actually capable of doing both sirius and nav.

http://oemautopartsco.com/ is the site I bought mine from. E-mail them and they will answer all of your questions. It was a great buying experience, I love my new radio.

the 2009 -10 Rams have the 730N RER radio
the 2011 -12 use the 730N RHR radio

both are the top of the line systems
the 430N RHB is almost as good
430 REN does not have the Navigation

anything else is a BASE model radio
it is called the RES 130

Are there updates for the NAV system? I have the nav system in my 2009 and im ready to tear it out and put in an after market. I thinks its garbage personally. The sat radio and dvd player is great. The nav cant get me home 3 blocks from my house and when i used it for long trips it had terrible routes and hundreds of km longer. I still use my old garmin on the dash instead of the very over priced factory system.

just a little FYI for ya.

Yes, there are updates available for your 2009 system from the dealer, Nickster.

If i was going to upgrade to nav it would be with an aftermarket unit.
