Default ecu problem?

If a ecu is in limp mode will the check engine light be on? my truck has no balls and the mpg is shitty, the truck revs up at start and the the idle will stay high after pressing on the gas pedal while the truck is in neutral. ive replaced all tb sensors, plug wires, cap, rotor, plugs, air filter, oil, transmission filter, transmission fluid, and cat. Or would you say its the throttle body pan gasket?

Was check light on when you replaced sensor's? If so did you reset computer? Or disconnect bat when you did the work? They can still hold the code even after sensor was replaced. If none of this is the case and computer is clean look for vacuum leak.

Another place to look is iac or air temp sensor both of these will make it idle like crap.
