Heading back in the morningand weather may be a factor. Will see if there is any change on the return mileage.
Return trip was much worse. Averaged 16.6 mpg. Probably because it was uphill a good portion of the way. Good to know but it does not matter much to me since I did not buy it for fuel economy. But it does mean I will probably take the wife's ride instead of mine should we venture on any long trips. Besides, that will save the miles on mine.

My 11.1 mpg is with a 4x4 (but rarely used) 3.92 gears and 17" OEM tires.

Sort of off topic... but not really.... why do you suppose the EVIC and hand calculating the MPG's comes out with such a difference? I'm about 1 mpg less when hand figuring.

2012 BIG HORN QUAD CAB HEMI 4WD 3.92 GEARS
My truck has less than 1000 miles on it. Not sure if it will actually get better after break in. Everyone has a different opinion on that subject.

Ive gotten 15mpg with 87 octane @ 75mph
17mpg with 89 octane @ 75mph

Since its been getting cold I use my remote start regularly but average about 11.5 City with 3-5 mile short trips in town 6 - 8 times a day.

I just did a round trip from IL to PA (1600 miles). On the way there I averaged 16.5 mpg, driving between 70-80 mph. Maybe 300lbs of cargo in the bed. On the way back I averaged 16...same speed. A good mixture of hills, flats and traffic. Cruise control was on probably 80% of the time on the highway. Had I adjusted my speed to say 65 I'm sure I could have averaged 17-18 mpg easily.

I am hoping I get better then my with my first bit of tracking 10.61 but the downfall I live close to work and am in traffic will have to get it out on the highway soon and look for some improvement. I just got the truck I didn't by it for the mpg but sure would like it to be better then what it is right now

Default 2009 hemi fuel mileage

I'm on my 4th trip from CT. to FL. about 3k miles each time I go. I drove solo (not towing) and got 20 tops on the highway. I towed and got 8 to 10, one flat road state towing I got 12 (wife was driving). I towed a 33 foot TT about 6k, and a 8600 lbs fifth wheel. These are true reads no bs, here.

Thanks again for the coments!

12.3 mpg on the EVIC with 300 miles on the odometer, city driving and 4 miles back and forth to work. 4x4 2011 1500 quad cab w/ 5 speed auto, hemi.

I'm thinking these engines run rich when cold and get crap mileage until the engine temp warms up a bit....right? The biggest hit to my mileage is running 3 lights down the road for lunch. It never heats up going to or coming back, unless I hit the auto start which I love.
