Default Loud AC fan?

I have noticed that my AC fan is kinda loud. At its lowest setting I can not hear any air flow, as I should not, but I can hear what I think is a bearing squeal from the fan. Can't say I noticed this before, but now that I have noticed it is very annoying.

Anyone else notice the high pitch sound from the fan at its lowest speed setting?

Is your air circulation turned on? I noticed its extremely loud when you press the "push" button.

Definately not normal. Mine has no squealing at any fan speed. I would take it in when you have a chance.

Possible Faulty Blower Motor,
or worse yet, your pet mice have moved into it and made a home out of it.
40+yrs workin on cars/trucks, you can`t imagine how many times i`ve pulled critters nests out of these vehicles heater/blower units...even brand new vehicles on the sales lots...!!!!

Mine did it noticeable on low speeds & took it to dealer. Of course it didn't make the noise then.

Default Loud AC Blower noise on low settings

Mine has started doing this again they replaced the blower once and it has started doing it again but now they are saying that the noise is common to all rams so they are not going to try to fix it... Has anyone got this problem fixed?

I have not been in every Ram out there, but common to all? That sounds like a brush off big time. Call the 800 number and reference the times you brought it in. Also be sure to say nicely that the dealer said "it is common to ALL Rams" I am sure Dodge/Chrysler doesn't want that kind of answer given to customers.

BTW at this point my 2009 has only 22k on it but no fan squeal.

Good Luck and pester them until they resolve it. You paid good money.
