Default Mirror Problem

On my way home yesterday from picking up my truck from being Line-x'ed, I noticed something off. My passenger mirror looked a bit different than the driver side. Upon further inspection it looks like a piece is not fully popped in on the under side. I tried messing with it a bit, but the thing is solid and I don't want to break anything. So my question is, how the heck do I get the mirror apart to get the piece back in place?

I for one can't really tell what exactly is going on with the mirror from your photos.

There are many threads here detailing how to disassemble mirrors. Use the forum search.
