Default Outdoorsman Leveling Questions

My next mod is going to be leveling out my '11 Outdoorsman with Bilstein 5100 adjustable front shocks. I've been reading everything I can find regarding them and it appears this is the path I want to go. I haven't seen anyone mention installing them on an Outdoorsman.

From what I can tell by reading online, my truck sits .7" higher than a typical SLT. Does anyone know what is different between my truck suspension and a normal SLT to gain the .7"? I believe the rake is still the same, so would I still want to set the shock at 2.1" (or a different height setting)? I don't want to end up with the wobble some have reported and I realize it is hit or miss with the trucks. I'm also wondering what impact this will have on the cv joints.

I'm planning on seeing if my dealer will install them and perform the alignment afterwards. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is the first time I'm planning on messing with a truck suspension so I'm sorry if my questions are dumb, just trying to be informed prior to purchasing them....thanks!!

Your outdoorsman uses a different a different strut then SLT
Should you replace with bilstiens you'll only see 1.4" instead of the full 2.1" because your truck is already higher (2.1"-.7")

Default leveling outdoorsman

I had a rough country 2" leveling spacer put on my 11 outdoorsman, love it and have no problems with it.

Id be weary of using a spacer on the outdoorsman
Because of the extra .7" and the suspension geometry the amount of lift you would actually see is unknown
Oddly all of these trucks react different so it would definitely be a proceed with caution project as with any leveling kit is anymore

How long have you had it on your truck? I'm about to install a Hell Bent 2" spacer on mine and am looking for any and all experience.

I had the shop that done mine use replacement springs instead of spacers. I have had it done almost a year now with no problems.
