So I bought brand new Rough Country 8000 shocks to replace my old ones because I put a 3" lift on it. But when I went to replace the back ones when I unbolted them, the started to expand... My new ones didn't do this? I thought all shocks were supposed to expand? Somebody please help me with this! I put the new front ones in just because the front were so bad. But being brand new and not expanding has me wondering, so I'm wanting to see if anybody else had this problem or if they are just not supposed to expand before I put them in.
