I waited for the last 2 years at least and with all of tyese recalls. Got the letter about a month ago and decided to take it in along with 5 other recalls that I never had done. Got it back and everything has been fine now for the past 2 weeks.

I would use the NGK's as long as they are a direct replacement.

I would change the spark plugs

I just hit 20,000 and mine look fine.

The larger the tank the more gas is needed to keep the fuel pump submerged in fuel so that is does not burn out. This is why people burn up their fuel pumps by running them too low on fuel.

Sorry to hear of the poor mileage from the michelins. Had them on my 05 silverado and loved them, got 75k miles.

Took a trip from Chicago to Bull Shoals Arkansas with my CC Hemi 2014, 3.21 gear, and 5,000 lbs boat. Got 12.5 average mpg doing 65-70. Tow haul mode with trans in 7th gear. Truck pulls great, love the 8 speed trans.

Everyone with a 8-speed transmission, that trans is a learning trans and will adjust over time to your driving habbits. I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze diesel for a daily driver and it does the exact same thing with coasting. It downshifts, or transmission brakes, call it what you want.
