Default Stock 1/4 Times from the 5.7

Hello everyone, this is actually my first post on the forum, and I tried looking up to see if any recent similar threads existed and did not find any, so if they do, please feel free to redirect me.

As a Bracket racer, I decided to hop in my 2018 Ram 1500 quad cab and see what it could do quarter mile wise. I was extremely surprised by the performance. The truck is absolutely bone stock, and the only thing I did when racing it was pull the air filter out. After multiple passes down the strip, and I mean like 35-40 in a few weeks, my best pass was a 14.26 at 96mph with a 2.042 60ft. Believe it or not the truck is about 3-4 tenths faster in 4wd and launching at 1500 rpm.

What has everyone else achieved with their STOCK Rams? Most other people I've talked to have struggled to go under 14.5s stock, so just curious to see how we've all done.

Thanks!

Seeing as regular cab R/Ts go high 13s at best, that’s quick for a QC.

What’s your DA?

DA was probably around 1500-2000 that night. With temps around 65 and low humidity. It was good air for sure

wow, 14.2x is smokin' for a QC 4x4 !
your experience at the strip certainly helped !

the quickest 'stock' Gen4 non-R/T that I recall reading about is a 13.9x from a base tradesman RC 2wd ..

These are about a 14 second truck stock, and usually in the high 14s, so you are doing very well. I don't race mine FWIW.

The fastest time I've seen for a cam only 4th gen was an 11, and that was an RCSB with a Moe's HPT cam
