Well, I've emailed Thunderhorse and asked him to forward you my information and email that I provided for the dealership in question. We've had bad weather lately so I hadn't parked the truck outside of the garage. Backed it out today to put some items up in the storage out there, and come to find out there's a large oil spot under the truck now.

I changed the oil the night before I took the truck in for repairs, so it is very well likely related to that, the oil filter area and the entire side of the engine (driver's side) is coated with oil. On the service paperwork I was given, it states that the technician did a "Vehicle Inspection". I do not understand how exactly they'd fail to notice oil all over the side of the engine if they in fact did an actual inspection. I'm not blaming them for creating the leak, it appears something didn't seat right with the oil filter housing. But there is no excuse for not noticing that while doing service on the vehicle. In fact it is quite appalling. If it were me working on a vehicle and I failed to notice that, I'd feel like a complete idiot. I can't say I've ever missed something like that, it's such an obvious problem.

I have a 2015 with the 5.7 Hemi. Just got it 3 months ago with only 70k on it. I swear the check engine light has been on more than it has been off. It started with the fuel sensor issue all of these have, then the "active grill shutters" now the 3 way coolant valve. My truck came from Canada and apparently is not qualified for any of the recalls? I ran my VIN and none of the recalls apply to my vehicle. My last Dodge had over 300k on it and it was 20yrs old....this one is forcing me to rethink my allegiance to Dodge. Oh yeah....and I have "blinking headlights" AND my fog light brackets were made so cheaply that they wore out after 4 yrs now my lights "bounce" everytime I hit a bump! Sure makes you love your new truck [email protected]#%!!!!

RT Shadow, where did you get the part number? I've gone into Auto Zone and O'Riley and neither of them have this part...told me I'm gonna be stuck buying it from the dealership. I need the part number for a 5.7 Hemi

You need to get the part through a Mopar source, either the dealership, eBay, etc.

For example:

Condition: New OE Spec or Performance/Custom: OE Spec
Warranty: 2 Year
Manufacturer Part Number: 52014892AC
Year: 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018
Brand: MOPAR

OEM MOPAR COOLANT 3 WAY VALVE 2013-2018 DODGE RAM 1500 2500 3500 4500 5500

Price:
US $194.73

https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-MOPAR-C...-/201755433580

This particular part will not work with the ecodiesel engine
