i recently had some PCM problems and upon reinstalling my PCM i got a couple of codes P2122 and P2127 low voltage to the throttle pedal position sensor. Am still a little green to this truck can some please help me please... Question where is the Throttle position really located.

P2122 DODGE - Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch 'D' Circuit Low

Possible causes

Faulty Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor
Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor harness is open or shorted
Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

I only found one video & does not show much & may be the wrong engine or year or even the correct part

I think that this is the TPS video, not the TPPS

Thanks for the help can i ask another question is that a easy fix or should i just take it to dealership and get ripped off......

If you have an Mopar Extended Warranty, the dealership is going to charge you $100 co-pay.

If you did not buy the Mopar Extended warranty, i would go online & find the closest Auto Electric garage near you, OR replace the part yourself

Don't be surprised if the part cost you $60.00 or more

The sensor itself may be the whole issue, it may be dirty or bad
It could also be the wiring, the best way to check that is by using a multimeter to check for proper amperages between the sensor & the PCM

You will also know that a Car Parts store may think that you want a different part
They could hear you say that you want a Throttle Peddle Position Sensor for the 2013 Ram 1500 w/ 5.7l
They could try to sell you a TPS, (Throttle Position Sensor ) instead

I am still confused about a TPPS & TPS

I think now that the video above is the wrong part
