Has anyone tried wax for white cars , is it just a way to sell another prod. or is it worth it?

Typically waxes sold specifically for white vehicles is polishing wax, which has abrasives. I wax my truck to keep abrasives out of the paint so I don't use it; I have been using Meguiar's Ultimate wax and have been very pleased with it

I use whatever squirts out of the machine at the "brushless" car wash (most expensive wash). Still looks great three years later.

its alot marketing and a little truth. like stated its a polish based wax/sealant with mild abrasives and white tinted fillers to make the paint appear better than it is without doing a correct polish.
if your paint is in good shape most any wax will work just fine .
and to choose a wax/sealant theres tons of choices and depends more what your looking to get out of it between protection, shine, gloss, hiding imperfections, longevity, price,
ect ect.
