Default Need Help 1993 dodge non start electrical

I have a 1993 250 that I have been fighting for almost 2 years with no luck. I purchased this truck as a pole truck and before I could get it home it broke down. I found a wire that was melted, fixed it and then a pipe weeks later it started only starting on and off and when it died it was fast. I have replaced a mountain of parts on truck and need help. I’ve replaced the following: computer, distributor, relays on fender, and coil. When I try to start it just cranks and doesn’t act like it even wants to start. I’ve traced the wiring and think it’s good, but. IDK! I can hear the relay on fender click on and off and I also feel like I’m hearing something clicking in the intake with just the key on?? Any suggestions TIA

Have you checked the starter? An intermittent short in the starter will cause the truck not to run. Next time your having troubles starting the truck give the starter a nice little wack with a pipe or hammer and see if it starts after that. If it does replace the starter. Or you could pull it and have it tested. The wack method is easier.

Mike, sorry I didn’t describe it better. Even when it won’t start it turns over just fine. Just won’t start

Try this. Pour a small amount of gas into the throttle body and try to start it. If it fires, it's fuel related, like a bad pump, or a less quick and dirty way would be a fuel pressure check.

How many miles? Try the key dance to see if you have any codes. As soon as you turn the key to "on" you should hear the fuel pump prime the system.

Key dance is: turn the key to on(not start!) three times, On the third time leave the key "on" then count the flashes.
