Default Tonneau cover - 2019s

Is the factory installed the best when it comes to the right seal, not leaking, etc or is there a consensus aftermarket that's better?

I owned an 09 and a 13 and I seem to remember in 13 people were recommending to not order the cover, but get one aftermarket.

Thanks!

I had the dealer install a mopar one on mine and I have been back three times because they cant get the front seal to stick to the spray in bed liner. Other then that it seems to be a nice cover,

I bought the Bakflip MX4 for my 2019 with Ramboxes. There is some leakage at the tailgate but not the fault of the MX4. There is a small space between the tailgate and the Ramboxes. It is minor and most of the water runs out the bottom crack of the tailgate. Other than that I'm happy with the cover. A 1500 without the Ramboxes may not have this issue.

My buddy bought a 2019 Limited last August, told me he couldn't get his cover to fit right, from the factory/dealer? I recommended what I had on my 2017 Ram & later on the 2019 Ram (DT). It's a RetraxONE rolling tonneau cover.

I haven't had much water in the bed, if any. Good luck with your choice.
