The day I was driving my 1992 Dodge Ram Van, to take it to the dealer to trade it in on my Jeep Grand Cherokee I went into the Discount Tire Store in Chula Vista,Ca. On Broadway and I st. . Asked them to check the air and put air in the tires. The tires were over 6 years old. The tire salesman that I talked to said it was against the law for him to put air in the tires because they were over 5 years old. He wanted to sell me a set of tires he could care less that I was trading the vehicle in. I just wanted to make sure the air was up and it would make the vehicle safe to drive.
I drove it home. I went to the Chevron Station down the street from my house. I asked the kid at the gas station to put air in the tires they were all low because the vehicle sat for months at a time without being driven. Not only was he rude about it but he lost out on a $20.00 tip. So the kid at the Chevron Station got the $20.00 Bucks.
