Default Dual exhaust

Would my 1500 4.7 benefit from dual exhaust? Anybody try it?

Duel exhaust would give no power benefit. If you like the look of duel exhaust, that's fine. If your looking for better sound, you can only get so much for a 6 cylinder. I added a dynamax to my Dakota V6 and it sounded alright. I also added a Borla duel to a Monte Carloo SS that sounded good. V6's don't sound right if you try to get to agressive a sound.

The 4.7 is a V8, the 3.7 was a V6.

True duals on a v8 sound like two 4 cylinders together. You'd at least want an H or X pipe

My brother in law had a Dakota with the 4.7 a few years back that had an aftermarket exhaust system. It sounded great. But yea, no real benefit to adding dual exhaust other than it sounding sweet. I think some have mentioned you may even loose some low end grunt? Not sure if that is accurate or not.

Duals are not necessary on a 4.7.

And yes more benefit from the Walker in all truth. I've also ran a 318 glasspack, and a hooker aerochamber. And the hooker was junk blew the ass out of it doing some shenanigans.
