Thank you all for the many suggestions but I think GTyankee is right, I dont think there's any new beds out there. So I'm just gonna take my lumps and have the body shop do what they do with the existing bed, and I'll perform rust maintenance on it as time goes by.

Thanks again to all.

That's a decision!

you can tell them to seal it and spray underbodyspray all over it. The problem zones are the ones, where the water and dirt can collect and sit- The new underbody conservation sprays foaming out to some kind of rubber- VW has that on their cars and you can not find many with underbody corrosion. Worth to look into. Good luck and I'm glad you came to a solution.

Hey Highvoltage,
So first, I receive the ramforumz.com weekly chats thru my email, and I always read them thoroughly, but to be honest I think it was years ago that I first introduced myself to y'all. I promise to do just that in the next day or so. My apologies guys. I just wanted to try and help you, Highvoltage if I can.

I have always lived on the west coast, and have lived in central Arizona for 15 years. I don't know where you are, but if you're not tooooo far away you might consider looking for a bed in Arizona, or any other area of the U.S. that has dry weather. I'm sure if you looked here in AZ, especially in the Phoenix area you could find a decent bed.

Hope that helps. And I promise, I'll get on here and introduce, or reintroduce myself in the next couple of days
