Default Tri Tip

Smoed two tri tips and a tray of beans on pecan. Of course the tri tip is good but the beans are mind blowing.

Wow, that just looks awesome! Never thought of doing beans that way but I will have to try that!

Looks great. I haven’t thought of smoking beans but will be adding that when I get another smoker. Thanks for sharing.

While saving up for a new smoker, I’m doing a little smoking with my little grill. Figured I’d give it a try and it worked to at least flavor the out side of the meat. It tasted good but forgot to take a pic. I should remember next time though.

If done correctly smoking can be done on a grill.

Every had smoked bacon wrapped pickles?

Wrap a pickle spear with either a full or 1/2 piece of bacon (your discretion), smoke at 225-250 until the bacon is done and the pickle shrinks just a little. I think mine took 45 minutes if I recall.

They sound really odd but they were a hit at the last BBQ I hosted.
