I have a custom tune to run 91E0, which allows me to advance timing/spark(go-baby-go) with less opportunity for pre-ignition detonation due to less volatility in higher compression-ratio engines.

What does the truck manual say? I put in 87E10 for 2 years and my tuner still allows the ability to do so.

Why? It’s cheaper and I drive the vehicle every day. Ethanol(unleaded) can die off anytime soon, just an agricultural ploy.

I run 87 Sunoco in mine. If I was towing, i would step up to 89. I would rather run top tier 87 than non top tier 89.

87, all the time, whether running heavily laden or empty.

That's mid-grade around here - regular is 85.

Just got back from 1500 mile trip. Using 89 got 1+ more MPG than 87. Was running 70-75 MPH all the time. Same roads, no load. Normally when just around town and to work I've used 87, but might go with the 89 for summer use.
