Default Where's the horn supposed to be?

I have recently acquired a '97 Ram 1500. One of the items on my list is to figure out why the horn doesn't work. Relay clicks, cruise buttons work, no air bag light so I don't think it's the clockspring. Thing is, I can't find a horn or the bracket (based on the image in my Alldata manual). I'm wondering if it's just not there and what it should look like.

Thanks!

Look at the drivers side near the front bumper

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's gone. Do you know what color the wires to the wiring harness are? I'll take a new approach and look for that.

I just found something to check out

Question;
2005 dodge ram 1500: the horn wires..purple wire..fender…
I am trying to locate the horn wires for a 2005 dodge ram 1500 pickup. I need to find a dark green and purple wire under the fender, can you help me locate it or tell me where to look?

Answer;
The horns are under the left fender and you can get to those wires there. An easy way to get to the horns is to remove the left inner fender plastic shield. remove the 8 mm screws holding the fender shield and let it drop down a little. Then look up and you will see the 2 horns.

another answer;

Yup, you can see it if you pull the driver side headlight. 3 10mm bolts and a flat blade screwdriver will get you at it pretty quick.

What does a 2005 have to do with a 1997? You should have two horns, Lift the hood and look behind the bumper. I believe they are mounted on the radiator support.

I have a 98, I'll double check mine but I believe it is on the passenger side near where the headlight is. I'll look for some wire colors too.

I'd appreciate that. I'll look on that side. I had assumed drivers side and pretty much have up.

I used the incorrect year
I mistakenly looked at the

Vehicle: 2007 Dodge Ram Sport 4X4... 2003 - 2008 would be the same
Engine: 2003-2008 345ci (5.7L) Hemi V8 345hp 375lb/ft

not the '98 in the post

which i believe is the same from 1994 - 2001 or 2002

Ok sorry I am late, finally got around to taking a picture. This is indeed on the passenger side, in front of the wheel well.

The wires going to both horns are green/red and black.
