I've seen a few owners driving them in my travels around the Baltimore beltway and plenty of them sitting on the dealer lots. I have to admit, I have always liked the looks of the Nissan Titan Pro4X extended cab in black. I just never could get past how their technology and features hadn't changed since 2004 when the trucks came out. The new Titan XD, I dunno, too big of a truck for my needs.

I saw one today (that wasn't on a dealer lot); it was a black gasser. That makes 2 that I've seen in all.

What a resounding success...

I've seen a bunch of them, my wife even drove one. Still can't get over how bad the fuel economy is. Even if it made it half way to the Ram Eco diesel, I think it would be a winner. The issue is it gets worse fuel economy than a 2500... cost more.. tows less.. and rides worse. Why would someone buy it over a 2500?

Nissans also tank in value once they're driven off the lot like nothing else. I put 30,000 miles on my 3500 in a year, and I'm still not upside down in value.

Looked at a Cummins Nissan yesterday at the Miami auto show. Didnt care much for it. I especially didnt care for the inside the bed "Rambox"-type system they have. Only functionally accessible from inside the bed, and the handle broke off in my hand when I opened the door! I did a quick look around to make sure nobody noticed, and quietly just dropped the handle in the box and pushed it shut.

Sounds pretty heavy duty

Seriously though I have seen a total of 3 on the road that weren't on a transporter, and 2 of those look exactly like the ones on the dealer display in towns so I can't say they weren't just being driven by the dealer. Both were XDs and one was a Cummins, the other was a gasser.

The third one I saw on my drive from coastal NC to San antonio a couple days ago. 1491 miles and 23 hours and I only saw one.
