Default No start hot. No fuel pump power?

1994 Ram 1500 5.9 Has new fuel pump and crank sensor. usually after a long drive when you go to restart it the truck cranks fine but will not start. Fuel pump is not running. If you mess with with the fuel pump relay or try jumping 87 & 30 on the pump relay will sometimes get the fuel pump to activate again. So why do you think randomly I loose fuel pump power. (it's not the relay) Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Bill
