So my insurance co could go after his, but would allow the use of non-OEM parts. Since I have a chrome rear bumper, I didnt want aftermarket (every aftermarket chrome steel bumper Ive ever seen starts to look like poop after a couple years)
Ended up dealing with the other guys insurance directly and they *are* putting OEM parts on.
I agree- we have a claim that just OEM parts are used if requested- if not- they put aftermarket parts on- but we let them know right up front. Allstate is actually not bad to deal with.
Thanks, Beagleman- My wife said, everything gone so quick and there is absolutely heavy and crazy traffic on this road. I asked her, why she did not stay at the spot- and she said- she didn't want to get run over- understandable.
I will make pictures and show. My wife took some for the insurance company.
