I had the check engine lamp illuminated, scanned for the code, and checked the gas cap first, and cleared the code. As I had warranty coverage, I made an appointment with a dealer for further exploration of the cause of the illuminated lamp. The check engine lamp came on again as I pulled out of my driveway to keep my service appointment. I always hate when I make a service appointment and get told the problem could not be duplicated.
