Not to mention cheaper maintenance and repair costs, and no DEF

Good numbers! I'm getting that kind of mileage regularly even with some mountain driving. My truck is a 2018 Express 4x4 regular cab short bed with the hemi. I can get 25-26 on long straight highway trips. I do have a tonneau cover.

25-26!!! that i don't think i can do, even with the MDS on all the time.
Maybe if you go 50 mph constantly, but at 67-72 mph, it wont happen.

That's driving at 70. My truck is considerably lighter than your CC. It probably has a lower ride height (even at stock height ), as well.

What tires are you running on the 20" wheels? I'm running the factory 17" Goodyear Wranglers.

Just curious. I've considered putting the black 20" wheels on my truck. Tires make a difference in mpg and your mpg numbers are excellent and is where I'd like to stay...if not better.

My sister borrowed my 2017 2500 Cummins this past Monday and returned it the same day 450 miles later. 23.4 mpg on the tripometer and 21.5 mpg hand calculation when I filled it, she didn’t put in any fuel per my instructions.

I really cant compare to my other trucks as my '12 had the hemi and the 6 speed and that was a thirsty truck. Also, I moved away into the farm fields since then and I no longer drive stop and go traffic. At the time, I was spending about 800-1000$/month in gas alone. That had the 20" and I was averaging 13.5mpg and the best I ever got was 19.6mpg a bit downhill at 58mph. The V6 was super nice, I wanted one really bad this time, but I got such a good deal on the Hemi, I just had to take it. The V6 was averaging 21-22mpg wih regular driving and the best I got was 27mpg. I was afraid of the battery pack reliability and availability this time; 3 years down the road I might just trade this one in for the V6, who knows. I really don't want to deal with the manifold bolts and the lifters.
Currently I am at 21.3mpg regular driving, which i think it is an awesome feat for such a V8. I do keep my foot off the throttle, I just drive normally.
Of course you an always do better, the red stang in my avatar pic (wifes car) can easily do 33 mpg on the highway(ecoboost).

I could never see anywhere near the numbers that are being bandied about.
3:92 , 8 speed. Hemi. 4x4, 20in michelin's, leveled, with topper, gear and sound proofing.

Hand Calculations 16.7-17.6 mpg depending traffic/winds, EVIC is always 2mpg higher, running Interstate at 77mph.

Weight, gearing, ride height, tires, driving habits...it all adds up where MPG is concerned.
